This study was aimed to discover different exercise factors and trigger pathways in suppression of breast cancer. Specific exercise induced hormones and triggers were identified in blocking growth of breast cancer and tumors. These findings provide a basis for exercise-dependent mechanisms to suppress breast cancer growth.
"Although these data suggest that it might be optimal for women with breast cancer to exercise at a moderate to high intensity, further studies are needed to confirm this. Women who have been diagnosed with breast cancer should consult a doctor before embarking on an exercise program." said Hojman.
